There are local taxis or the bus for short day trips, and  the bus goes into Puerto Vallarta every 20 minutes or so. Golf cars, scooters, or ATVs can be rented here to get around Sayulita. If you do drive, limited parking is available on the street in front of the complex.

No. The voltage and sockets are the same as in the US and Canada.

The balcony on the individual patios is only two feet high -- not appropriate for young children.

Are there many stairs?
Yes. We are located on a hillside and there are stairs leading to each of the casitas and the villa.

Is Sayulita safe?
Yes. No violent crime has occurred here and there are no drug cartels or gangs. Police patrol regularly and both our property and the town is well-lit.  Neighbors look out for one another as is typical in a small town like ours and we have Neighborhood Watch programs. We frequently walk to town after dark and feel quite comfortable. We wouldn't live here and host guests here if it wasn't safe.  Of course, visitors should secure valuables, be careful at ATMs, and avoid flashing lots of cash.

Do you accept credit cards or PayPal?
Sorry, but to keep our rates low we accept only cash or checks. Our Canadian customers can use the Interac E-transfer process -- a convenient and low-cost option for electronic bank transfers.

What should I do when I arrive for my vacation?
You will either find the door unlocked when you arrive or be directed to our property managers to pick up the key. If you are met by the property managers, they will show you to your casita and answer any questions you might have. If we are present please get settled then come up to our casa and say hello. We can then answer any questions you might have about Sayulita and your casita.
